  1. Correna,
I looked up the description as well as the website for the book on your list: Yardsticks: Children in the Classroom Ages 4-14. I really liked how this book breaks down suggestions for curriculum areas based on each different age level. It also summarizes developmental traits which I think is very important for a teacher of any age group to fully understand. Thank You for sharing your resources and especially this book.

  2. I read about The Summit County Day School and I noticed they have a Montessori program for early ed. This was very interesting. My son attended montessori in his 4 year old program. I really liked the set up. Just wanted to know is this a school you work at or just something you are interested in?

I work teach at Head Start, I was interested in the hearing the speaker at the school. I have seen her on national news program and thought it would be interesting to hear speak.

  4. I really enjoy the way Yardsticks: Children in the Classroom Ages 4-14 is set up. I think I'll have to go back and reread it. I haven't read it in a while. Thanks for the reminder.

  5. Hey Correna. I looked up your resources and I added them to my own resource sheet at work. I am always looking for new resources that deal with children. So, I would like to say Thank you for allowing me to use your resources.
